Curiosity in Full Swing

We love when family comes to visit! This weekend we were spoiled to have Jake & Erin come with there darling kiddos!  On Saturday, we went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity with them.

 

Camry is intrigued by science just like her Dad! 

July Birthday Girls! Both almost 2 years old!

Ella, Camry, Callie & Luke (& parents) had a blast trying to see and do everything at the museum.

Callie & Camry are just 2 days apart! Camry called Callie, "baby" all weekend.

 

The girls both kicked and screamed because they weren't ready to leave the water table!  However, the fun didn't stop here!  We went to lunch and the boys filled up on JDawgs!  Followed by sweet treats at The Slurp!
Wish these Smith's could stay longer and play all week!

My Dad is Rad!

Daniel spent a huge proportion of his day long-boarding and buying treats from the neighborhood kids Bake Sale.

32!

 We had a Hot Diggity Dog Roast with some friends to celebrate this guys BIG 32 this week!
After everyone left, Camry and Daniel stayed outside playing golf.  I quickly "wrapped" Daniel's gift.

 Camry was excited to show her dad - where to find his present!

 Daniel HAD NO IDEA what he was about to unwrap!

 He was pleasantly surprised!

 Camry needed to test it out in the store and at home...

The next day, Daniel's actual birthday we took balloons to him at his new office! (The office is now 7 minutes from home! Its dreamy!) We went to lunch at a Mexican Cafe and it was one of the first meals out that Daniel and I could communicate & have full conversations even with Camry there! She was content and pleased to be eating out :) We dropped him back at work, he worked and then went to school. When he got home at 10:30pm we sang and gave him a Chocolate Texas Donut! He was bummed there weren't candles so we lit matches from him and Camry to blow out.  Spoiled Daniel had a great birthday!

Kites!!

Our neighbors took Kites to the park and we decided to join them!

Camry thought the kites were awesome! She would hold the string for a second and LET GO! Daniel spent most the time chasing the kites that were loose!!

 Utah summer evenings are amazing!

Best of State

The Best of State Gala with Anderson Engineering!

Don't worry this is a great Fabulous story:

See that handsome guy - he decided to take tickets that were up for grabs at 8am... for a "Black Tie" event that started at 6pm that night.  So glad he accepted because it was an really awesome Gala!

That dress you see, I wore to my high school Homecoming dance 10 plus years ago!  Shocked that it fit, I was too! I couldn't move my arms above my head - luckily, I could reach my drink glass while sitting with no issues. :)We had a yummy meal with great company!

Strider Bike!

This sweet, adorable, sassy, fun girl is almost 2!!! Camry's birthday present was on our porch when we came home from the park! She was thrilled!!
