Jamba Juice

For a wedding gift, we got a NINJA blender! It has created its self a home on the kitchen counter top! Daniel found recipes for Jamba juices online. We searched the aisles at walmart for all the ingredients. He has created some very close to Jamba and some others from left field. : ) One from left field had cream soda instead of Juice...

One Saturday, David, Shawna, Baby Asher, Todd, and Amy friends were over for a breakfast casserole that cooked too much of. It was divine! I think the recipe is on the back of a sausage package. The boys ate then played David’s new found love – Catch – Baseball at the park. When they returned, Daniel busted out some Jamba Juice! It has topped off many great dinners and been many surprising breakfasts on my way out the door to work.

While the boys played, Amy and I made and decorated Cupcakes!

Google Jamba Juice Recipes for great drinks! The breakfast recipe will have to wait until we go grocery shopping.

Babies- YEA!
I have spent many nights sewing birth cloths and picking out cute baby clothes!

David and Shawna had Baby Asher Smith. He was born on Cinco de Mayo! He is so tender! Adorable lil boy! (Sorry no picture)

Wade and Julie, Dylan and Ashton welcomed Baby Scarlet Hendrickson on May 11th. I knew she was coming so I wore PINK in her honor! I went to the hospital within an hour of her birth. I was a baby hog! I LOVE seeing new babes! She is a precious bundle of PINK! The Hendrickson Clan is always beyond thrilled for girls! (The black/green and yellow pics of Scarlet are from when she was 3 days old.)

CTR 5 - Primary

Daniel and I were called to teach Primary (a program for young children at church) in our new ward. We spend part of the time in Sharing Time, the children are taught important principles and learn religious songs. After Sharing Time, Daniel and I go to a different classroom with our class of 7 kids ages 5 & 6. Some of them just finished preschool and are headed to Kindergarten the rest finished kinder and are going to 1st grade! So basically it is close to the same age I work with at Patterson.
Daniel and I have made an agreement that we each teach every other week. It has been a great experience to see Daniel teach. He has seen me teach my class before so I don’t think him watching me is anything new. The kids love him! The sweet little girls flock to him and always try to sit right next to him… basically on his lap! When we are in sharing time, he sings and enjoys all the little interactions and distractions.

We made these puppets a couple weeks ago.

You have to add pigtails for girls. : )

Hop Hop Hop

Patterson had a spring carnival. The coolest thing there was a petting zoo! Kate, Lilly, and Landon hung out with the animals until we took off to the cabin with my Pops for General Conference Weekend.

For Easter, Daniel and I hosted my family for brunch! Mom helped with the cooking! Thanks Ma! Daniel did an excellent job hiding all the eggs! We even started a new tradition for the Hendrickson Clan… we hide a golden egg… I think it had a whole $4! Nick helped us gain a new piece of equipment! Check out this lil' trampoline. It's small and cozy! The fam played some backyard games, played baseball with Dylan at the park, and tried to fly a kite... it was missing a stick.

Fisher Family Dinner – Monti’s Steak House

Every couple of years when my Aunt Holly and her family comes to town, my grandpa treats us to dinner at Monti’s Steak house.
It was great to catch up with my brothers, aunts, uncles, and so many cousins! To entertain the kids, the restaurant handed out wikki sticks! No surprise, I was the #1 kid!

Landon found his own entertainment, he walked around taking peoples orders!

I love my Grandpa! He is a great blessing in my life. I have enjoyed spending time with him over the years.
Daniel and I went to pick Blackberries at his house. While we were picking he came out and picked with us. Meanwhile, teaching us all about the blackberry bush. He proudly showed us around his gorgeous yard informing us about all his fruit trees. We left with containers of delicious blackberries and grapefruits but most importantly feeling greater love for his man!
Check this stud out! Here is his picture from our reception.

Returning to my lil panthers!

My class was so excited that I was getting married. Starting with getting engaged, they were characters! I loved hearing their thoughts and suggestions!
My beautiful cousin Marci, came to my classroom to ask my kids about marriage. She brought in wedding cake for each student to try.

Here is a text I got on my wedding day from one of my students! Super cute!

After our cruise, Daniel came to Room 28 and we had a mini reception with my class. We bought pizza and had them sign our guest book! : )

San Diego with Ma and Mary!

After our cruise, we met up with my Mom and Aunt Mary for lunch before driving back to the desert. We ate at a resturant in Seaport Village. While there we ran into Ken, Jami, and Kendra Auga (Katie's Family). What a small world!
